The Importance of Vision

When you look out at the world, everything that you see first began as someone’s vision. Nothing that we have created would exist if it did not first exist in the mind of its creator.

The significance of our role as creators is not to be underestimated, nor is the power of thought in the manifestation of reality.

In order for something to exist, it must first be visualized.

It is not therefore the substance of our dreams that matters as much as the existence of them because it is the visualization that counts. Indeed, as they say: “If you can dream it, you can achieve it.”

If we focus our thoughts and energy on active creation, we acknowledge two things: 1) our desires 2) our power.

We reorder or cause a reordering of our lived experience in life by our conscious and subconscious thoughts and beliefs.

That so many people fail to ever materialize success or happiness, I believe, is more a function of their lack of creativity and consciousness than it is a lack of opportunity.

Opportunity is self-generated and borne from the realization that we cannot simply wait for life to happen to us, but that we must take an active role as co-creators.

When we change our mindset from passive participant to active creator, it becomes apparent that our thoughts become things.

How do you practically translate that into real and demonstrable change in your life? It’s quite simple really, you envision what you would like to become, and what you desire to achieve and with focused thought and intention your life becomes ordered in such a way that there is no other option than for your vision to make manifest.

The creation of a law practice is no different

It began as a thought. Maybe even a whim.

And then one day it found itself committed to paper, and then to a conversation, to a property search, a commitment, a resignation and eventually to a firm.

And so Iron Law was built on the strength of a vision made manifest and the rest, as they say, is history.
